Todd Bergen is recognized as one of the most accomplished and versatile horsemen in the western performance industry. A self-made professional with a career built on discipline, consistency, and perseverance, Todd has earned distinction at the highest levels of reining and reined cow horse competition.

Early in his career, Todd had the opportunity to train under legendary horseman Bob Avila. That mentorship helped shape the foundation of his program and instilled the standards of excellence that continue to define his work today.

Todd became the sixth rider in history to achieve Million Dollar Rider status with the National Reined Cow Horse Association and was the first horseman ever to earn Million Dollar distinction in two separate associations. In 2004, he was also named a Million Dollar Rider by theNational Reining Horse Association.

His career highlights include:

• 5.5 million LTE in NRHA NRCHA NCHA 

• 2x NRHA futurity champion

• 2x NRCHA Futurity champion 

• 10x champion or reserve NRHA NRCHA premier events

• Training cowhorses and cutters at this time

Beyond his competitive achievements, Todd serves as General Manager of Theorem Ranch in Texas, overseeing operations at the recently acquired TR9 Ranch—formerly owned by Teton Ridge. In this leadership role, he helps guide one of the premier western performance facilities in the country, further expanding his impact on the industry.

In addition, Todd continues to operate Todd Bergen Performance Horses, developing elite reiners and reined cow horses with a focus on athleticism, durability, and long-term success.
